Meet Amy Badstubner, Au.D.

Dr. Amy Badstubner received her Doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Arizona State University. Professionally, Dr. Badstubner has worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings from a world-renowned clinic assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, a high school for deaf teenagers, prison care, private practice, to numerous hospitals with individuals ranging in age from birth to 102 years old. Her clinical interests include tinnitus management and auditory (re)habilitation, as well as assisting those with hearing loss, through the use of amplification and/or assistive listening devices (ALDs), to be able to enjoy the sounds of life.

Dr. Badstubner has been awarded various honors that include the Empowering People scholarship, Ronald J Spitznagel Service Fellowship, and the Ida Institute Inspired by Ida distinction for high levels of Person-Centered Care. She also feels it is important to give back to the community and has done so by mentoring at-risk teenagers and being a foster parent. In her free time, Dr. Badstubner can be found relaxing at her piano or spending time with her family.
